Computing Science at University of Alberta is hiring tenure-track faculty
in the areas of Robotics, Systems, Natural Language and Green and
Sustainable Computing. Strong candidates can be considered for a Canada
Research Chair position.

Robotics candidates have collaboration opportunities within CS in robot
vision (Zhang, Jagersand), intelligent robotics (Bowling), and with the
strong AI group (e.g. Sutton, Schuurmans, Szepesvari, Greiner).

There are also collaboration opportunities with faculty in the Mechanical
and Electrical Engineering departments on controls, medical robotics and

The Department of Computing Science is ranked 4th in Canada and 96th in the
world and is home to 44 tenured and tenure-track faculty members, and over
200 graduate students in its Ph.D. and M.Sc. programs.  The University of
Alberta, ranked 5th in Canada and 107th in the world.
