*** Motivation ***
Humanoid robots are the most sensible platforms for helping humans with
dirty, dangerous and demeaning jobs. Their human-like shape allows them to
easily work in the same environment of humans and use human-tailored
devices. Furthermore, humanoids’ motion can be easily understood and
predicted by human partners or co-workers, favoring the physical human-robot
Different researches on humanoids moved toward a pure kinematic control of
the robot motion, or are based on the use of a simplified dynamic model,
e.g. inverted pendulum, which allow obtaining interesting methodologies and
great results in many applications, e.g. ZMP-based walking, push recovering
based on the notion of the capture point, etc.
Despite the potentialities of these techniques, there is a point where an
increase of the performance is obtained only by considering the whole-body
dynamic model of the robot. Beside, there are other applications, such as
multi-contact and physical interaction, where the use of the complete
dynamic model is mandatory.
The scope of this workshop is to explore the recent progress on the use of
dynamics in the field of humanoid robotics, covering all the main four
phases. The workshop will review recent research results achieved by control
and planning algorithms. Obviously, great importance will be given to the
role of the dynamic identification and perception techniques.

In the area of humanoids robotics:
- dynamic control, identification, planning, perception and control;
- whole-body control;
- multi-contact control and planning;
- physical human-robot interaction.

Participants are also invited to submit their contribution as an extended
abstract, in PDF, maximum 2 pages, IEEE two-columns conference style format,

All the submissions will be selected with a single-blind review process. The
accepted contributions will be presented at the workshop as oral talk or
interactive poster, according to the final organization of the workshop.
