The General Robotics, Automation, Sensing, & Perception (GRASP) Laboratory
at the University of Pennsylvania is searching for post-doctoral
researchers. Successful candidates will have a PhD in Mechanical
Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
Candidates with strong backgrounds in all disciplines relevant to autonomy
and autonomous systems are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have
demonstrated a track record of high-quality academic publications and
scholarly engagement with the robotics and related communities. They will
also have demonstrated familiarity and/or expertise with hardware- and
software-in-the-loop simulation and fielding robotic testbeds.
The GRASP Lab is an interdisciplinary academic and research center within
the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of
Pennsylvania. Founded in 1979, the GRASP Lab is a premier robotics
incubator that fosters collaboration between students, research staff and
faculty focusing on fundamental research in vision, perception, control
systems, automation, and machine learning. Successful candidates will work
closely with M. Ani Hsieh, Vijay Kumar, George Pappas, CJ Taylor, and other
GRASP faculty, graduate students, and post-doctoral researchers.
