George Mason University, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering within the Volgenau School of Engineering, invites application for a PhD position in the general area of robotics and control in Fall 2017. Fully financial supports of Research Assistantship (~$2300/mon) will be provided. 

Successful candidates should be highly self-motivated to pursue independent and interdisciplinary research. Background in one or more of the following areas is required: dynamics, controls, robotics, and mechanics. Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, and micro-controllers is a plus.
