*Theme and Topics*

MFI 2017 theme will be *“Multisensor Fusion and Integration in the wake of
Big Data, Deep Learning and Cyber Physical System”*. The conference covers
broad topics related to multisensor fusion and integration, including but
not limited to such topics as sensor/actuator networks, distributed and
cloud architectures, bio-inspired systems and evolutionary approaches,
methods of cognitive sensor fusion, Bayesian approaches, fuzzy systems and
neural networks, biomedical applications, autonomous vehicles of land, sea
and air, localization, tracking, SLAM, 3D perception, manipulation with
multifinger hands, robotics, micro/nano systems, information fusion,
sensors, multimodal integration in HCI and HRI, etc.

*Paper Submission & Publications*

Prospective authors are invited to submit high-quality papers representing
original results in all areas of multisensor fusion and integration for
intelligent systems. Six pages in standard IEEE format are allowed for each
paper, including figures. Accepted papers will be published at *IEEE Xplore*.
A limited number of excellent papers will be selected among the presented
papers, and be published in the series *Lecture Notes in Electrical
Engineering (LNEE) of Springer* as an extended version of the conference
proceedings. The book of this series is indexed to ISI Proceedings,
EI-Compendex, SCOPUS, MetaPress, Springerlink.

*Tutorials & Workshops*

Like the previous MFI conferences, the organizers intend to arrange an
extensive program of workshops and tutorials to be held after the
conference. Proposals for tutorials and workshops that address topics
related to the conference theme are welcome. More details on how to submit
proposals for workshops and tutorials can be found on the conference
