Dear Colleagues,

We invite proposals for tutorials to be held at IEEE IRC 2018 Conference,
which will take place on January 31 - February 2, 2018, in Laguna Hills,
CA, USA.
The tutorial sessions aim to provide an opportunity to discuss current and
emergent topics regarding the interaction of computing technologies and
robotic technologies. In particular, we welcome both full and half day
tutorial proposals that addresses the synergy between Robotics and Computer
Science.

TUTORIAL PROPOSALS
We welcome tutorial proposals on topics within Robotic Computing. The topic
should be of sufficient relevance with respect to the state-of-the-art.
Moreover, the tutorial should be educational rather than a cursory survey
of techniques. Tutorials can be either half (3 hours) or full day (5-6
hours) events. Proposals should be submitted by email both to
daniela.dauria4 at unina.it and to ieee-irc at uci.edu as a single PDF file that
must not exceed 5 A4 pages. In this file, please include the following
information:

-Tutorial title and length (half day/full day);
-Proposers and lecturers–names, titles, affiliations, and primary contact
emails;
-Short biography for each lecturer;
-Tutorial description that includes topics that will be covered, along with
a brief outline and significant details;
-Target audience (introductory, intermediate, or advanced).

SELECTION CRITERIA
Tutorials will be selected based on which ones the tutorial committees
expect to be most valuable for IRC 2018 attendees. Our goal is to have a
diverse set of interesting and timely tutorials that are well run and
productive events.

IMPORTANT DATES
Tutorial Proposals Deadline: September 25, 2017
Tutorials Decision Notification: October 9, 2017
