We aim to gather the smartest robot enthusiasts to build a fully autonomous
robot that can see and operate in the human environment, bring a true
robotic future to life.

For this position, we are looking for a talented algorithm developer.

*Job Description*

Develop algorithms for the robot arm, robot hand and mobile robot
applications in logistic settings, and maintain the implementation of these
algorithms.
The algorithms involved include but not limited to motion planning,
collision checking, collision avoidance, world representation, mapping,
localization, navigation, grasp planning, trajectory optimization, 3D bin
packing, etc. Most of these algorithms are abstract and do not rely on
domain knowledge of robotics.
Part of the work is to develop and maintain existing open-source libraries,
for example, FCL (Flexible Collision Library).


*Position Requirement*

1.   Good knowledge of algorithm design and data structure, have the
capability to design new algorithm and new data structure to solve
real-world problems.
2.   Familiar with Linux environment, preferring those who have implemented
over 10,000 lines of code on various algorithms
3.   Capable of researching and looking for academic papers that can be
used to solve real-world problems, and implement the algorithms described
in them.
4.   Good ability of English

3. Experience in creating computational efficient code that scales to
multiple applications
4. Experience with ROS, OpenRTM, YARP, Choreonoid, OpenRave… or other robot
software platform

    - machine learning
    - computer vision
    - autonomous navigation
    - planning
    - robotic manipulation
    - computational geometry
    - operations research
