The NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) Multi-Agent Autonomy Group is seeking new postdoctoral researchers in the area of multi-robot planning, estimation, and control for a variety of technology development projects. The position is for one year, renewable for two more years.

The research program aims to study decision making, controls, consensus, and distributed task allocation algorithms, especially in time-delayed networks for spaceflight (orbital) or planetary (rover) environments. The ideal candidate has a balance of strong theoretical results and good practical skills such as software development and high-level system design. PhD students nearing the end of their program are welcome to apply.
