At the University of Bremen, the Institute for Artificial Intelligence -
part of the department Mathematics and Computer Science FB3 - calls for
applications in the area of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics - under
the condition of job release - for several positions in the

The Institute for Artificial Intelligence is concerned with basic
scientific research in the field of integrated intelligent systems.
Knowledge4Retail is a collaborative project funded by the BMWi (Federal
Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy) within the context of the
German call "Innovation Competition - Artificial Intelligence as driver
for economically relevant ecosystems". The goal is to develop a powerful
platform that enables retailers to use artificial intelligence and
robots for logistics of retail branches. For more information see
Developing concepts for representing retail stores and their
implementation as knowledge bases and virtual environments
Knowledge modelling and representation for the Knowledge4Retail
pilot applications and building knowledge bases for these pilot applications
Realization of web-based experimentation settings, which are made
available on the digital Knowledge4Retail platform for interested parties
Conception and implementation of a general, machine-readable format

Design, implementation and evaluation of a scalable, cloud-based,

University degree in Computer Science (Master, University Diploma)
