** 3rd SUMMER SCHOOL ON SINGULARITIES OF MECHANISMS AND ROBOTIC
29 July to 2 August 2019 at the Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria
Singularities of robots and mechanisms have already fascinated
generations of researchers. Yet there is continuous and intense research
on this central topic motivated by the enormous practical value of the
careful study and thorough understanding of the phenomenon for the
design and use of manipulators.
The purpose of this series of courses is to introduce attendees to
milestone results, key methods, and main problems in singularity analysis.
The lectures provide a wide overview of cutting-edge work and focus in
more detail on a few advanced topics of significant practical and
The Summer School is also a networking opportunity for students and
researcher to make contacts and to interact with their peers.
