HUSKI ("Humanoids learning motion skills") is a 4-year project funded by
the French National Agency for Research (ANR).
Within this project, the Institute for Intelligent Systems and Robotics
(ISIR) at Sorbonne
University in Paris is opening a PhD position. The project focuses on
combining
Reinforcement Learning (RL) and model-based approaches to design efficient
algorithms that can automatically discover and improve motion skills with
virtual
humanoid robots. The PhD candidate will work on the composition of motion
skills
and on the incorporation of modeled dynamics into RL algorithms.
