Several Funded Ph.D. Graduate Research Assistantships and MS positions are available with a start in Summer or Fall of 2019 for work on new grants in AgRobotics and CPS in the Collaborative Robotics Lab in the School of Engineering Technology at Purdue University, West Lafayette. 
     Highly capable candidates with degrees in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer disciplines are encouraged to
apply. The ideal candidates for funded positions will have a profound interest in both fundamental and 
applied research in Robotics and a strong history of prior projects and prior publications, particularly IROS, ICRA and other IEEE conferences. Candidates interested in networking systems for the new field of Precision Animal Agriculture, particularly monitoring cows in a dairy farm environment, body sensor networks and inertial measurement of animal movement and activity encouraged to apply.

Qualifications: B.S. in Engineering or a related field, M.S. preferred. Self-motivated individuals with a high
degree of curiosity and creativity and an interest in innovation and entrepreneurship are particularly sought.
Strong critical thinking skills a must! Demonstrated ability to write about and publish your work in scholarly publications.
