We have a funded PhD opening at the University of Rhode Island (www.uri.edu)
to work on Autonomy development for unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs) and
unmanned surface vehicles (USV).

systems to support ocean researches. Currently, we are seeking a graduate
student to work on following projects,
	•	Terrain-aided navigation and bathymetric SLAM for unmanned underwater
	•	Collaborative navigation and seafloor mapping with multiple heterogeneous
marine robots
	•	Information-driven adaptive path-planning for unmanned marine robots.

*Expected skills
Relevant programming experience with Python, C++ and MATLAB.

Previous experience in robotics, hardware or software.
