*ESMERA is looking for industrial end-user challenges*

Do you have a challenge that could be solved by a new robotics solution?

Then participating in ESMERA may be an opportunity for you.

ESMERA invites you to share with us real-life problems in which you
would like to introduce a robotics solution. Eight of these challenges
will be included in an open call in September 2019, to which SMEs all
over Europe will apply to solve them.

If you work in Energy, Manufacturing, Agri-Food, Construction or in a
different sector and you would like to solve one of your current
challenges by a robotics solution – please send us your challenge until
April, 30th 2019 to opencalls at esmera-project.eu
<mailto:opencalls at esmera-project.eu>or to Esra Icer: Esra.Icer at tum.de

*Background Information*

Within the European Commission´s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation
Programme ESMERA (European SMEs Robotics Applications) aims to boost
robotics innovation by European Small and Medium sizes Enterprises (SMEs).

In the context of ESMERA, small-scale research projects, so-called
experiments, will be conducted. Industrial end-users pose concrete
challenges in their area and SMEs developing robotics technologies apply
to provide the respective solution. The challenge winners will receive
direct financial support through a cascade funding mechanism of up to
200.000 euros each. Also, the ESMERA consortium provides technical
support, access to robotics facilities and mentoring.

*ESMERA First Open Call in 2018*

In 2018, the first Open Call of ESMERA was also looking for challenges
from industrial end-users. Experiments have now been chosen to start
their robotics development process.

If you are interested in the Open Call 2018 or would like to get
inspiration by our former challenges, you can find information here:

We are looking forward to your challenge. For any question or
consultation on whether your challenge fits to ESMERA, please get back
