The Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines (IRIM) at Georgia Tech invites applications/nominations for the 2020-2021 Visiting Faculty Fellows program.

IRIM's VFF program supports extended visits (from one to six months) to the Georgia Tech Atlanta campus for individuals working at other institutions or industry/government laboratories, engaged in research activities focusing on robotics. IRIM will provide Visiting Faculty Fellows with partial salary support, along with support for travel and living expenses. Prior participants in the IRIM Visiting Faculty Fellows program include Gregory S. Chirikjian (2017), Mark W. Spong (2018), and Svetlana ?Lana? Lazebnik (2019).?

During their stay, the IRIM Visiting Fellows will have the opportunity to interact with IRIM faculty and students and give a 2-3 day mini-tutorial on their current research.

More information about the IRIM VFF program can be found at:

or by e-mail at vff at robotics.gatech.edu.

The application deadline is March 31, 2020.

Georgia Tech's Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines (IRIM), established in 2013, is one of the twelve Interdisciplinary Research Institutes (IRIs) at Georgia Tech and serves as an umbrella under which robotics researchers, educators, and students from across campus can come together to advance the many high-powered and diverse robotics activities at Georgia Tech. More than 70 faculty, 180+ students and 30 labs are part of IRIM, involved in research focusing around three strategic thrust areas: Autonomy, Medical Robotics & Human Augmentation, and Collaborative Robotics.
